L.E.V Matadero 2022

The fourth edition of L.E.V. Matadero, Festival de Electrónica Visual y Realidades Extendidas, organized by Matadero Madrid together with Cineteca Madrid and Medialab en Matadero and curated by the Datatron platform, will take place from September 22 to 25, 2022. This year, L.E.V. Matadero will offer a musical program with concerts and audiovisual performances in Nave 16 and Plaza Matadero of great references and young talents in the field of electronic and audiovisual sound creation, with a lineup headed by the acclaimed German composer Alva Noto or the multi-awarded Japanese artist Daito Manabe. As a novelty in this edition, the festival will also occupy the MAD (Madrid Artes Digitales) immersive experience center, located in Matadero's Nave 16, with an audiovisual installation by the duo SYNSPECIES. 

Among the activities to be announced later are those of the sections VORTEX, composed of virtual reality experiences and VR Cinema, and Augmented City, urban augmented reality experiences. Both will return for another year with unusual proposals born at the intersection of limitless creativity and the latest technological tools.
