LE TABLEAU (Michele Lemieux, Canadá, 2024, 12´)
An animated short film with pinscreen, the film revisits the Prado Museum's portrait of Queen Mariana of Austria, married to her uncle at the age of 14, painted in 1652 by Vélazquez. This experimental work is a meditation on the violence of institutionalized incest and the power of art to capture souls.

ROCK BOTTOM (María Trénor, Spain-Poland, 2024, 87´)
Based on Robert Wyatt's album of the same name, Rock Bottom is a tormented love story between a young couple of artists immersed in the creative and groundbreaking whirlwind of the post-hippie culture of the early seventies. Drugs will turn a dreamy summer into a nightmare through a dreamlike journey set to Wyatt's soundtrack, taking us from desolation to the search for hope. A universal story about the transformative power of art and music. Debut in feature film of the Valencian María Trénor, director who began writing this project in early 2010, just after meeting Robert Wyatt and receiving the musician's approval to adapt his album to an animated musical film.
